Mounting systems: Install solar systems quickly and safely

Mounting systems from IBC SOLAR are characterised by their quick installation, durability and stability. IBC SOLAR offers on-roof mounting for uncomplicated photovoltaic installation. It is not only cost-effective, but is also equally suitable for new roofs as well as existing and renovated roofs. IBC SOLAR photovoltaic mounting systems are suitable for pitched roof and flat roof installation. For the respective roof covering such as tiles, trapezoidal sheet metal, corrugated eternit, bitumen, foil, green roof or gravel, we offer perfectly matched fastenings that guarantee extreme stability. Flat roof installation has been specially optimised in the wind tunnel. A perfect design can be created for every shape and size of roof using the "PV Manager" planning software. All our mounting systems are characterised by a low system weight and, thanks to the high degree of prefabrication, also by the short installation time. This is a strength of which we are particularly proud and which has been confirmed by the trade journal "Photovoltaik - Solartechnik für Installateure, Planer, Architekten". In its independent installation test, IBC SOLAR AeroFix was "fastest of all classes"! None of these factors are at the expense of the safety or stability of our products. With their UV and weather-resistant aluminium and stainless steel materials, the substructure and brackets of these solar mounting systems can withstand even extreme wind and weather conditions.

Mounting systems for pitched roofs

Pitched roofs are the most common type of roof in Germany. They are ideal for photovoltaic installation, as they can absorb a large proportion of the sun's rays and convert them into energy if they have the right pitch. Ideally, the pitched roof should be south-facing. This is where the solar radiation and yield are greatest at midday. East-west orientated roof systems are also very lucrative, as they can provide more energy in the morning and evening in particular, when households generally need the most electricity.

For your pitched roof: roof hooks and co.

The roof hooks are used to attach the mounting system to the roof truss. As they are screwed directly onto the rafters, they must be matched to the respective tile shape. Depending on the roof covering, hanger bolts, sheet metal seam clamps or trapezoidal sheet metal clamps are also used as fasteners.

Mounting systems for flat roofs

As the name suggests, the flat roof solar system is installed on flat roofs. The IBC AeroFix mounting system is easily installed on the roof without penetrating the roof. The IBC AeroFix mounting system offers secure installation with low weight and high storm resistance. The stronger the wind blows, the well-designed aerodynamics ensure a high level of system safety even during storms, guaranteeing constant photovoltaic yields without failures.

For your flat roof: building protection mat and co.

The building protection mat forms the bottom layer of a solar mounting system on flat roofs. It is essential to protect the waterproofing from the pressure load of the photovoltaic system. Incorrect or inadequate building protection prevents water drainage and damages the entire roof structure. The materials required for a photovoltaic flat roof also include ground rails, supports, module clamps and wind brackets. We also supply our specialist partners with detailed installation instructions and installation plans.

Essential components of photovoltaic installation

We strongly advise against installing photovoltaic systems yourself, and this also applies to our solar mounting systems. For a professional and flawless installation of the mounting systems, please contact our certified specialist partners. They will install your solar system efficiently and professionally. Planning is the be-all and end-all

One of the first steps for a specialist when planning your photovoltaic system is to identify any shading that could impair the yield of the solar system. Possible obstacles include trees, neighbouring houses, mountains, dormer windows or chimneys. By recording shading, roof cladding, pitch, condition and cable routing options in advance, potential disruptive factors can be identified and taken into account during planning. With this information, we can customise your photovoltaic mounting system for you and soon you too will be able to enjoy the benefits of renewable energy without any complications.
