Solar power. A safe investment.

We are partners for sustainable success in large-scale solar projects.

Solar parks are an excellent investment. They make a valuable contribution to a clean energy supply and generate high long-term returns – provided you do everything right. With us as your partner, you as an investor, local authority or private land provider can be sure that the solar park will operate highly efficiently and with the greatest possible profitability. Because we offer the highest quality and decades of experience in planning and operation. Have sun!

We are looking for ready-to-build solar parks larger than 10 Megawatt Peak. If you would like to team up on a project, please contact us.

All project phases under control.

Phase 1

Project development

(Phase duration: 1 to 2 years)

We take over the search for locations and secure suitable areas by concluding lease agreements. We contact local authorities and take over all stages from the land-use planning procedure to expert opinions and the approval process. This also includes the environmental impact assessment of the solar park as well as the technical planning, securing the feed-in points and involving local interest groups. There is only one point of contact for local authorities and leaseholders – IBC SOLAR.

Phase 2

Investment Management

(Phase duration: 1 to 3 months)

Benefit from our expertise in operating costs (calculating profitability) of solar parks! We check whether your project can be implemented economically. To do this, we assess risks and take care of costing and financing. We calculate variants and analyse which park design offers the most benefits. Our goal: low operating costs, high returns. Our investment management evaluates the construction costs (EPC costs) across all project phases, monitors development costs (architects, etc.) and secures the feed-in tariff.

Phase 3

Planning and realisation – EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)

(Phase duration: 2 to 6 months)

We prepare the implementation planning (engineering) and take care of the appropriate components and services (procurement). In engineering, we plan, for example, cable-saving routing, ideal utilisation of the inverters and efficient orientation of the photovoltaic modules. We then build the solar park (construction), put it into operation and hand it over to the owner. Our project managers ensure that the solar park is constructed for safe technical operation.

Phase 4

Technical management – O&M (Operation & Maintenance)

(Phase duration: up to 30 years)

In the O&M phase, we secure the value of the solar park and optimise every detail for a sustainable yield. This includes monitoring via remote monitoring for rapid troubleshooting, regular data analyses and additional services such as mowing grass to prevent shading of the modules. In addition, the operating risk is minimised through reports and logs as well as compliance with technical and legal requirements. This ensures stable performance over decades.

Hölzengraben City Solar Park.

Our excellent self-consumption solution. The Hölzengraben City solar park is located in an industrial estate near Kaiserslautern. Part of the energy produced there is used by two local companies for their own consumption via a 1,200-metre long cable route. IBC SOLAR was honoured with the Intersolar Award 2014 for this project.

Jura Solar Park.

Community energy along the motorway. In 2014, we completed the last of ten sections of the Jura solar park. The park has a total output of 43 MWp covers an area of 136 football pitches including its own substation. It produces climate-friendly electricity for more than 10,500 households per year and saves around 24,600 tonnes of CO2 annually.

Tested IBC SOLAR quality. Guaranteed long-term economic operation.

The photovoltaic modules that we install in your solar park have been tested for bending and breaking by the independent test laboratory SUNLAB. All other components also impress with their uncompromising quality. This gives you the security of worry-free operation for decades to come. This makes solar fun!
